Anne is the founder of IKare Innovation, a Tel-Aviv-based investment and technological partnerships gateway into the Israeli Innovation Ecosystem. Since 2017, iKare Innovation represents the French corporate Engie for their open innovation and investments in Israel and advises numerous startups on sustainable innovation and technological partnerships.
Anne Baer is an accomplished connector, strategist, and innovator with expertise in Sustainability, Regional Geopolitics, Transportation, and CleanTech.
Anne Baer is the CEO of iKare Innovation, Senior advisor of Engie New Ventures in Israel since 2015,
She teaches environmental, technological and gender diplomacy, and pitching skills, at HEIP-Paris Master of Business diplomacy (2021-).
Previously she acted as Innovation expert on behalf of the French Foreign Ministry to Israel, as sustainability expert at the UN (1992-2000) and as Attachée for the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Kinshasa/RDC (1989-91).
Besides diplomatic missions for Israel, the UN and France, she was senior advisor to the Israeli government, and took part in the official delegation to the COP27 on behalf of the regional cooperation ministry (2021-22). She is also acting as an overseas professional trainer on behalf of Israel’s foreign ministry and foreign aid and cooperation agency.
