Tim Banning works at the German Energy Agency’s Directorate of Policy & Strategy. In his role as project lead, he advises the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. Prior to joining the German Energy Agency, Tim worked for Deutsche Bahn’s international division on projects in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. For his PhD at the University of Basel, he focused on the politics of Chinese investment in international infrastructure projects.
