Alexander has over ten years of experience in various legal areas of energy market regulation, including i.a.:
- Unbundling practice (TSO/DSO),
- Infrastructure topics – network development and expansion,
- Environmental law,
- REMIT,
- Governance and policy development,
- Advisory work on legislative proposals,
- Consumer related issues,
- RES topics.
Alexander has been engaged in numerous international expert projects (TAIEX & Twinning missions, EU4Energy, German energy partnerships, individual expert missions etc.). He lectures and speaks at various energy-related events worldwide. Alexander holds a Master of Law (Magister iuris) degree from the University of Cologne and has been admitted to the German Bar.
