Elad Sharabani is a partner in Meitar’s Energy and Infrastructure Group and provides comprehensive legal advice in the fields of oil and gas exploration in Israel, as well as private power generation, including with respect to the complex regulatory frameworks applicable to developers in these sectors .
Elad has extensive experience in advising energy projects based on conventional technologies, cogeneration, and renewable energy, and other energy related projects such as the construction of data centers throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, including licensing, drafting of EPC and O&M agreements, and agreements with equipment and service providers. In addition, Elad has substantial experience in drafting natural gas purchase agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), transmission and distribution agreements, and project financing arrangements.
Elad has broad experience in advising on tenders and public-private partnership projects of the BOT / BOO / PFI types, inter alia due to his experience in representing government-owned companies in connection with tenders for the establishment of some of the largest infrastructure projects in Israel.
In addition to his work at the firm, Elad is an outside lecturer in Tel Aviv university where he co-teaches the Energy Law course at the Law faculty together with Renelle Joffe,.
Elad is a member of the Energy and Infrastructure Committee of the Israel Bar Association.
