Ms. Janet Shalom joined the Israeli Ministry of Energy at 2018 and started her role as the head International p department at 2024. As Part of her duties, Ms. Shalom is in charge for the Ministry’s foreign policy, Leads the international relations of the ministry including policy, international projects, bilateral relations, membership in international organizations, and more.
Prior to her nomination as head of the international division, foreign, Ms. Shalom was the senior advisor to the Ministry of energy DG, Mr. Adiri, between 2018-2021, and the head of the ministry planning and policy between 2021-2023. Before joining the Ministry of Energy Ms. Shalom was the Regional Commissioner of Jerusalem and the South, in the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC) at the Ministry of Labor and welfare.
She holds an LLB degree from the Faculty of Law at Hebrew University and passed the Israeli Bar Exam in 2009.
