Shahar Dolev is the head of models development and long-term policy unit in the Planning Policy and Strategy Division of the Ministry of Energy. In this position he develops models for assessing Israel’s energy demand as well as examining the energy sector under different scenarios of a very high penetration of renewable and clean energy sources. Based on these models he lead the authoring of the Ministry’s Roadmap for a Net-Zero GHG Emissions Energy Sector by 2050, the Critical Minerals Policy for the Future Energy Sector, assisted in writing the Hydrogen Strategy, and more.
