Ms. Shirley Levy has been managing the Senior Planning and Environment Division since 2019. She began her career in infrastructure planning in 2005 as a project coordinator at the National Planning and Building Committee for National Infrastructure, where she worked for four years. Between 2009-2019, she worked at the Ministry of Energy in the Physical Planning Division.
In her current role at the Authority, Shirley has led the development plan for the transmission sector for 2023-2030 and authored policy papers including “Increasing the renewable energy target to 30% in 2030”. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ben-Gurion University and a master’s degree from the Hebrew University.
